General information

visitOpening hours Pilgrim Archives

The attractive exhibition about the Pilgrims on the historical Vliet gives an excellent impression of Pilgrim life in particular and  life in Leiden at the beginning of the 17th century in general. This was the time when Rembrandt lived and worked in Leiden too. The Pilgrim Archives are a centre for information about the Pilgrims in Leiden. The historical location on the Vliet - the exact point of departure from the city for the Pilgrims on their journey to the New World in 1620 – is the starting point for the Leiden Pilgrim Tour for today’s visitor.
You  can visit the Pilgrim Archives on Tuesday to Saturday  between 12.00 and 16.00.
